Framing
Our frames are handcrafted with love by an intergenerational, family framing company in Cape Town. Each frame comes with glass, backing boards and pre-fitted hangers for easy installation. The wood used for our frames is sourced from responsibly managed forests. The frames are constructed using acid-free materials to guarantee the longevity of your artwork.
Payment in instalments
We are passionate about facilitating access to the arts. Through PayFast, collectors can now enjoy the flexibility of paying for their artworks in easy monthly instalments with a mobicred account.
GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are valid for three years from the date of issue or until the time they are redeemed (whichever comes first). Please note that gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged. There are no shipping costs associated with purchasing a gift card on its own. However, if the value of your gift card helps your total order reach our free shipping threshold, it will count toward free shipping.
Please note that occasionally our gift cards are received in the email promotions folder. Be sure to inform the recipient to check their email service thoroughly.

From Creation to delivery: A timeline
Print-only orders typically takes a maximum of three business days to be created, after which they are dispatched for delivery. Please account for seven - ten business days for framed pieces to be dispatched for delivery, as our frames are created on request by experts by hand.
Our delivery lead times after dispatch are as follows:
Local Deliveries (Cape Town and Surrounds): 1 - 2 business days, once dispatched
National Deliveries (Major Metros): 3 - 5 business days, once dispatched
Outlying areas: 5 -7 working days, once dispatched

EXPEDITE DELIVERY
If you would like to expedite the dispatch of your piece, please email info@oeuvreart.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. Expedited orders may be subject to an express fee of 10% of your order's total at checkout. This will be invoiced separately independently from your order.
Delivery Prices in South Africa
We charge a standard delivery fee of 175 ZAR for the shipping of local orders. If your order is equal to or over 1 800 ZAR, you qualify for free local shipping. This will reflect at checkout. Expedited orders may be subject to an express fee of 10% of your order's total at checkout, invoiced independently from your order's total at checkout. Care, Conservation & Handling
Archival artworks are sensitive to heat, light, acid and moisture. We recommend framing your work to guarantee its longevity.

Returns, refunds & exchanges
Please note that our online framing and printing orders are created to order and are therefore not eligible for return or exchange. We will only affect a return, refund, and/or exchange if the items have been delivered with material defects. To be eligible for a return, refund or exchange owing to material defects, your artwork and/or frame must be in the same condition that you received it in, unused, and in its original packaging. Artworks sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds on gift cards or any discounted artworks.

Order adjustments
Please note that any adjustments to your order must be sent to us via email within twenty-four hours of your placing your initial order. After twenty-four hours have lapsed, the creation process has commenced and no alterations can be accommodated.
Minor adjustments (e.g. changing the colour of your frame) may not impact your expected delivery date but other adjustments (e.g. upsizing your artwork) may affect your expected delivery date by forty-eight hours.
Please note that certain changes to your order (e.g. upsizing your artwork) may result in a higher price. Any price changes will be communicated and invoiced to you separately. Where price increases are applicable, the updated order will be placed once the full amount for the updated order has been received by Oeuvre. Standard lead times apply once any outstanding costs have been settled.
Order Cancellations
Please note that all printing and online framing orders may only be cancelled within the first twenty-four hours of placing an order. After the twenty-four hours have lapsed, the creation process has commenced and no changes to the order can be accommodated. A 5% cancellation fee will be applicable and deducted from the amount refunded to you.
