MEET THE ARTIST
'Forming a part of the Abazalwane/MOB TIES series, this piece pays homage to the Women's Apostolic Church group. This series as a whole is a playful representation of Uniform Churches and represents them as a gangster cluster. In Mark 10:14, Jesus urges parents to bring their children to him as they will be the ones to inherit the Kingdom of God. By juxtaposing 'worldly' things in front of Holy women, this piece questions what happens to one's spiritual quest in a material world.' - Sloppy Iz
Abazalwane (MOB TIES) is printed with archival inks on Fine Art Paper with a matte finish.
